Craven Lodge No. 581
Craven Elks Lodge was constituted in April 1986. Over the years membership seems to vary, but presently our membership is 47 members including men and women. We have a good dedicated group who work well together in fund raising, whether it be bingo's, dinner theatres, bar b q , ticket and community calendar sales. Other than our national charity, we are quite active in our area, supporting those in need, whether it be sickness, emergencies or whatever. Our largest project would be the community centre, where we hold our lodge meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month excluding July and August. The community centre is quite active and is used by many other groups. We also support our local rink where many activities take place.
