Message
My theme for the year is “Let’s Go”. Let’s go work on a project in our community. Let’s go help a
family in need. Let’s go help the kids around us. Let’s go bring in new members. This list can keep going on.
Since I joined this great organization only a few short years ago I have learned so much. I learnt
there is more to the Elks then just a hall on the edge of town that gets used for various functions. When I joined, I had no clue what the Elks of done. I have not heard of the Fund For Children or Sparc. It even took me a couple years to learn what the Saskatchewan Elks Foundation was and did.
It is wonderful to see a group full of people working for the same cause. People from the local
community to right across the country. I’m looking forward to a great year, to meet new people. Also,
Congratulations to the new members on the Association and congratulations to those who have moved up.
